Sr Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Sr Mechanical Engineer with a broad skill set that includes expertise in product development, 3D modeling using SolidWorks, manufacturing processes, injection molding, systems integration, and rapid prototyping. Responsibilities:

Product Design and Development:

Lead and contribute to the full product development cycle, from concept generation and feasibility analysis to design, testing, and production launch.

Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling (complex assemblies & surface modeling) and detailed engineering drawings for new products or product improvements.

Manufacturability Assessment:

Evaluate the manufacturability of product designs, considering factors such as material selection, fabrication processes, and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct design reviews to identify and resolve potential manufacturing challenges early in the development process.

Prototyping and Testing:

Build and test prototypes of new designs, iterating as necessary to achieve desired performance and manufacturability goals.

Utilize rapid prototyping techniques to accelerate the development process.

Product Development:

Apply product development methodologies and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.

Expertise in injection molding and its application in product design and development.

Systems Integration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate complex systems and components into product designs.

Ensure seamless functionality and compatibility of integrated systems.

Documentation and Standards:

Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and engineering change orders.

Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements in manufacturing and design practices to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to provide technical support, address issues, and ensure a smooth transition from design to production.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet project objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications:

6 years experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience working with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and injection molding.

Demonstrated expertise in product development, including concept-to-launch experience.

Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping technologies.

Systems integration skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
